About the Human Race
The Human Race is a 5K walk and 5K/10K run and the only local fundraising event that allows each participant to choose the non-profit where they want their pledge money to go. In 2010, the Human Race drew 300 racers and raised more than $39,500 for 34 nonprofit organizations, many of which do not have the resources to put on a fundraising event of their own.
We’re excited and motivated to have the best Human Race ever in 2011—see you there!
