Make a Difference Day 

Join us on Saturday, October 22, 2016 for Make A Difference Day. Make a Difference Day is the single largest day of community service.  On the fourth Saturday of October, millions of volunteers around the world unite in a common mission to improve the lives of others. Make A Difference Day is a day to celebrate the power of people to make a difference.

Last Year's Projects 

Hundred’s of Whatcom County residents joined us on October 25th  2014 for Make a Difference Day.
  • We removed invasive plant species at Franklin Park in Bellingham
  • We put the Growing Veterans farm to rest for the winter
  • We took Stewards of Children training to reduce child abuse in Whatcom County,
  • We planted native trees to help the salmon coming into Schell Creek/Marsh & to help the native species at Maple Creek Reach Preserve
  • We helped isolated seniors with projects around their home
  • We made thank you cards for Hospice volunteers
  • We promoted WAHA and Downtown Bellingham
