Hearty Party 5k!
Roses are red, violets are blue, we're running a 5k and you should come too! On Saturday, February 11th, the Max Higbee center is putting on their 4th annual 5k. This community event benefits Max Higbee Center, a non-profit organization providing recreational services to teens and adults living with developmental disabilities. We are looking for volunteers to help put on the Hearty Party 5k!

Volunteer with Lydia Place’s annual Hearts for Housing gala!
Get involved and help your community by participating in our set-up crew for Lydia Place’s annual Hearts for Housing gala! Funds raised at the auction will help to support our housing and supportive services programs working to end homelessness for families in Whatcom County.
We need your support to make our venue look perfect for our biggest fundraiser of the year. Consider signing up for a shift and lending your hand to making our event a success!
Potting Party – Riverstead Barn
Join The Whatcom Land Trust at our barn at WLT’s Riverstead property to pot young trees for future planting parties! Keeping them safe and cozy in pots for a year helps the trees develop roots so that they can survive dry Whatcom County summers. We’ll have our hands in the dirt from 9 am to 3 pm, so come for the day or drop by for a couple of hours. This is a great opportunity to meet other Land Trust volunteers and learn about our story.
